京都市生まれ。
京都の文具屋の次女として
幼少時代は"お店""商店"になじみを
"文房具に愛着を持ちながら育つ

20歳のときに実家を琵琶湖のほとり
滋賀県堅田に移す。

京都精華大学美術学部造形学科日本画
同大学研究生卒業

制作の傍ら、帯図案家の元で呉服のあり方
を知り、時代劇セットの制作サポートでは
町屋や時代小物に触れる。
その後上京。
ステーショナリーメーカー就職。和テイストの商品企画を担当。

1996年フリーに。
和風ステーショナリーデザイン、雑誌のイラスト提供を経て
〜2002年までの間、6回の個展を開催。

主に和の布物製品、和装小物のライセンス契約の取組みを開始

2005年からステーショナリーのデザイン企画提供を再開

現在は”「洋服でも違和感ない和」を描くクレエーター”として
主に現代女性の日常生活をより豊かにした製品創りを提案し、活動中
日常の中にある物を大切に、そこに自然に溶け込める新しいものを

提供する事に喜びを感じています。　昔からある物、新しい物、

そしてその中に今共存している人に接していると何かを創りたい

気持ちでいっぱいになってきます。ふと気がつくとそこに有る。

そんななにげなくて、そして無いとなんとなく寂しくて、いつも

側に置いておきたくなる…そんな気持ちで私の描いた絵や物と一緒に

四季折々、心豊かに過してもらえたらとても嬉しいことだと思います。

I was born in Kyoto.
I studied Japanese painting course in the department of
molding of Kyoto Seika Art University, and then stayed there as a
research student of Japanese painting for one year.
I experienced to exhibit group works of Japanese paintings twice in Kyoto
when a student.

After graduation I moved to Tokyo, and worked to plan many Japanese-style goods
in the stationery manufacturer for five years.
From July of 1997 I started to work as afreelance creator,
who designs "the Japanese style" intorducing fashion.
My design are mainly for stationery such as writing pads or greeting cards.

I make much of daily goods around us,
and I feel very happy to reat something new that adjust to our daily life.
Touch with old things, new things, and people who live with such things
makes me be anxious to create something.
I hope you are comforatably with my design or works.

I try to work in a new field so as to extend my original world.
